As she journeyed through her career, Tj teamed up with her partner, Stella Stephney, writing and producing for new and upcoming artists, and forming "Harem Management", a company focused on managing the careers of various musicians, artists, authors, etc. She later went on to partner with artist/song writer Remont Anthony and formed "Strive Productions."
Far from a stranger to the entertainment world, Tj excitedly comes on board with Stephney as Co-Founder of "Urban Muse Magazine". She's aiming to help up-and-coming artists, writers, musicians, publishers, etc., to be heard, and to be seen. “The entertainment industry can be tough to break into, but I’m confident that Urban Muse will provide an avenue for those who want to make their mark in the business, and I’m honored to be a part of this movement.”

Like a true nail technician, skincare and makeup addict, Kim’s interest in makeup artistry began long before her career did as she was brought up in the beauty industry as her mother was a platform artist/model for Bonner Bros. in the ’60s early ’70s. Kim had the privilege of being trained by Roosevelt Cartwright (one of Oprah’s makeup artists), and Sam Fine (a well-known Chicago makeup artist).
Armed with what she learned from industry professionals, Kim was afforded the opportunity to train new hires for Northwest Airlines thru Estee Lauder where, for several years, she taught skincare and makeup to new flight attendants. Also while working for Estee Lauder, Kim set up corporate accounts for professionals, providing them with personal one-on-one classes for makeup artistry.
Today, Kim works with a broad range of products including the Estee Lauder family of products, Lorac, Kett, Laura Mercier, Iman, Ben Nye, and Makeup Forever products as well as many other professional cosmetic brands. Her makeup style is skincare first, enhancing your own natural beauty with natural tones, while contrasting with a little color. Kim has this to say about her clients…“The majority of my clientele loves enhancing their natural look or having a more professional look which they can embrace every day and incorporate into their professional working lifestyle.”
Kim is constantly updating, training and adding to her extensive makeup collection for film, special events and seminars.

It is my job and responsibility to create this experience not just for the movie celebs, but also for the homemakers or secretaries who may rush in during a lunch hour or before they go to work. This experience is for and belongs to everyone who sits in my chair. To me, this is the epitome of what the craft is all about and is the only formula for longevity and success in this business.”

Words of wisdom that Telona would like to impart as her legacy:
“Take no Client for granted and never pursue this career for the money side of the business. Do it because you love it and have something personal to give to each client, to each movie set, to each photoshoot. Be professional at all times and never stop learning new techniques, new ways to be innovative. Remain humble and remember that many clients may grow your business, but you are the only one with the ability to tear it down.”
