In honor of August being Black Business Month, we want to recognize Pinnacle Entertainment Productions, which was started in Chicago in 2009, as a full service entertainment production firm, producing new music, stage plays, fashion shows, concerts, dance parties, and new talent.  The initial artist the entertainment organization is debuting to the public is Playerre.

Playerre is exploding onto the “entertainment scene” as a composer, lyricist, vocalist, arranger, and performer.  He has a loyal fan base and has been described as original, creative, innovative, genuine, and entertaining.  His music style ranges from sultry to funky, and from dance to jazzy.  Simply put, the music that Playerre creates is lush, thriving, delicious, savory, and sensual.  Playerre is music!

Today marks the beginning of a long lasting and significant career in the entertainment industry for Pierre Andre’ Evans, better known by his stage moniker Playerre.  As owner and CEO of Pinnacle Entertainment Productions, the innovative and creative artist debuts his highly anticipated CD, Guaranteed Love, on his own label.  The project is being marketed and distributed by Hobbs Entertainment Group Worldwide.  The CD is set to be released on Sunday, August 2, 2015, and will be available at digital stores worldwide, including iTunes, BeatPort, Traxsource, and Juno Download.

Guaranteed Love is a compilation EP CD containing three hot tracks from three hot new artists.  The title track, “Guaranteed Love,” which is Playerre’s leading single, is an instant steppin’ classic.  Being described as sexy, smooth, sultry, and infectious, this song conveys the desire for true, genuine, everlasting love, while keeping you steppin’ on the dance floor. “It’s something that all of us desire,” explains Playerre.  “Weigh Me Down,” written and performed by Fa’Saud (Towana Nolan) is a neo soul head-bobbin’ gem that celebrates a woman’s self respect, confidence and independence, as this excerpt from the lyrics shows, “I ain’t tryin’ to clown, but ain’t nobody weighin’ me down!”  “Fantasy,” the final track, written and performed by Remy (Jeremy Washington) of the well-known acappella group The Remedy, rounds up the collection with an R&B lovers delight.  This love making, quiet storm brew will definitely get you “in the mood,” as one of the lyrics explains, “Baby girl, I wanna see your body wet…yes…uh huh.”  Playerre jokingly quips, “Plenty of babies will be made from listening to this cut.

A native of Chicago, IL, Playerre has always been surrounded by music, and explains, “I was bitten by the music bug at birth. As a child, music was all around me.  My mother Helen, who is a classically trained pianist, could always find me playing the piano in our dining room; making new music.  Although she never forced me to play, she always encouraged me to continue.  My father Rick, who was a DJ and a singer, led several singing groups in his youth.  Lastly, my brother Dorado, introduced me to DJ’ing when I was only a teenager, in the early 80’s.”

Playerre, a 1998 graduate of Chicago’s prestigious Columbia College, an arts and media school, possesses a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Arts, Entertainment & Media Management.  He is also an accomplished freelance writer with numerous published articles, high profile interviews and event recaps which currently appear in several international publications and websites.

In addition to performing and writing, he is active in several other artistic endeavors, including acting, DJ’ing, modeling and spoken word.  As an actor, he has appeared in numerous Hollywood blockbusters, including both Home Alone II and Richie Rich with Macaulay Culkin, The Negotiator with Samuel L. Jackson, Never Been Kissed with Drew Barrymore and Road to Perdition with Jude Law, Tom Hanks and the late Paul Newman.  He’s been a DJ for the past 35 years, and is known in the house music community and clubs as DJ Playerre.

In the corporate world, he has collaborated with several businesses.  He is the Booking Agent for the Chicago Talent Factory television show, which will debut locally on Chicago’s WCIU, “The U,” the Media Director for The Soul Train Impact team, as well as the host of A Taste of Theater television show which highlights screenwriters and their plays and broadcasts nationwide.  He also hosts the annual “Victor Gulley Presents A Taste of Theater Festival,” which has been conducted in the past in collaboration with “The God Father of Black Theater,” Mr. Shelly Garrett, where playwrights showcase their plays to a live audience and compete for a coveted award.  Just recently, he became a Board member of Friends for Life Resource Center, Inc., a non-profit organization making a huge difference in the communities of the Chicagoland area.

Currently on a promotional campaign for the Guaranteed Love CD, Playerre is performing and appearing at various locations and promoting the “Guaranteed Love Movement.”  He says, “By joining this movement, you are helping to change the direction of the music industry from one that creates “disposable music” to one which supports songs of substance. Your support will show youth, society as a whole, and the radio industry in particular, that you are tired of songs that only speak about sex, promiscuity, bravado and disrespect to self and others. ‘Guaranteed Love’ is a composition that addresses the search for real love…something that all of us are in search of.”

On Saturday, August 1, 2015, Playerre will be performing and will debut the Guaranteed Love CD at the grand opening of the Crookid Kiss Collaboratives store in Chicago, IL.  The following day, August 2, 2015, he will be the in-studio guest of world renowned DJ Herb Kent’s radio show “Battle of The Best” on the prestigious station V103 (WVAZ 102.7fm) from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm (CST.)  The show will simulcast online.

You can watch the official music video for Playerre’s debut single “Guaranteed Love,” follow Playerre on Facebook and hear his music on ReverbNation.  You can also learn more about Pinnacle Entertainment Productions by logging onto their website or Facebook page.
